i said yes if i could. of course if i had the time i'd try it out. cant really justify getting cod on pc as i already have it for ps3 so i guess ill be looking at the new pc games when they arrive to see whats hott... when the time comes

Played a few rounds, and while it does look startlingly like 2142, the gameplay is good. Initially I couldn't play at all because my a/d keys did nothing, but once I cleared the joystick controls for 'on foot' it worked fine. It's a pretty game, nice explosions, destructible environment rocks. There's still some graphic bugs to work out, but all-in-all it was a fun couple hours. I haven't got to fly a helo yet, but the tanks and apcs are good. Might be a bit too strong, but I may be comparing them to COD5 toughness.

I wasn't sure how long I'd be on, so I just fiddled around without getting on TS, sorry Namru.

More thoughts: The weapons seem 'pop-gun'ish, you can unload a clip on a dude 1.5m from you and not kill him... seems like typical BF hitboxing...

change my thoughts to HELL YES. saw some videos online of it and talked to a coworker of mine who plays the beta... he said when you shoot down a helo it'll spin outta control and crash into a building and kill everyone in it.. that sounds AWESOME to me and realistic so im gonna get it and try it out... in the R2 server of course. and ill drag him to the clan as well.

Yeah, the destructible environment rocks... I just wish I had more time for play... =\

hmm im not sure im gonna get it. since playing the beta the things i do like is the enviroment destruction is really good and a nice touch to the game. a few things i don't like about it are you can't lay on the ground aswell you have to keep holding the button to stay crouched and that there is no semi-auto fire on guns. the worst thing out of all of it for me is i have no plane to fly and bomb people Sad

The no prone and hold to crouch bug me too, but I didn't know about the no planes thing, or is it just this map?

Tho, with the destructible environment a plane bomb would do a helluva lot of damage to the map... heh.

Greetings Program, I am sorry I have not stayed in touch. Real Life has been interesting of late.

I joined the Clan around the time of Battlefield 2 and greatly enjoyed gaming with the Clan through good times and rare bad times.

I jumped on the Call of Duty band wagon after Battlefield 2142 came out. I bought the game and played it for a while, but I considered it a flop.

The next few Battlefield and Call of Duty games were not much better, but I stuck through it. As more and more Clan members came and went I started playing City of Heroes and now Champions Online.

I still play Call of Duty now and then, but I think the developers dropped the ball. It isn't much fun when the game freezes.

I am looking foreword to Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and hope to see you all in the Digital World.
